Which is cheaper RBA or Air Asia to KL?

Kinda on the curious side today. People at weddings keep talking about how cheap flights to KL now that Air Asia is around. So thought I'd personally check it out! Banar kah? Last we checked in jua brapa.

Ok test dates:

1. Fly 5th August 06 back 9th August 2006 (Weekend coming back Weekday)

Let's See the Return Prices..

Air Asia: B$173.98 ($59.99+29.00 to KL $39.99+ $45.00 from KL)

RBA: B$260 ($168 +$92 Tax)

2. Fly 5th August 06 back 12th August 2006 (Weekend coming back Weekend)

Air Asia: B$193.98 ($59.99+29.00 to KL $59.99+ $45.00 from KL)

RBA: B$260 ($168 + $92 Tax)

Tried looking for MAS but unfortunately either fully booked or difficult to find dates

Verdict: Air Asia is still cheaper than RBA

However, I guess the additional $70 in RBA would compensate for ease in terms of meals both ways, free flow of drinks, extra baggage space, closer terminals in KL (is it??)

I haven't gone on Air Asia and would like to know more on the services. Any comments welcome thanks.
