Love is her body...

So much to like about Jennifer Love Hewitt. She's got this sweet long face - lucky for her.. hehehehe she can sing. Her song was pretty okay dulu. Wonder why she didn't keep it up! She was famous in 'I know what you did last summer' and with 3rd season of ghost whisperer I can't help but notice she's growing this LOve shaped body. Every time I keep watching the latest ghost whisperer it just keeps getting bigger and bigger esp on the bum side. Why? Sayang jua ia ani. Good for her, her face doesn't show. To kill my curiosity I thought I'd find out and google. None answered but I can see photos. People out there are definitely asking...

Brunei Flower Craze...

Can't help but find it cali. Hahaha we have several crazes..2 of most recent ones are:

1. The Magic Chair in Delima

I have not seen it... but I have seen the long queue. Byk orang esp the older generation queue up, some I heard every day. Its suppose to be good for health.. Not sure jua.. but if it helps why not! On top of it it's apparently free! Hahaha FREE is KEY!

2. The 'Expensive Plant' - Mahal kali ah. GELOMBANG CINTA

Went to the Pasar 3 weeks ago but didn't notice much. My sister was telling me last week about this new plant which is very expensive. Again I didn't really bother much cos not really into it. Today we went to pasar to look for flowers and its so obvious. If you see the stall with many people, ah iatah tu! Even everyone around say, 'Liat mana ramai orang sanatah bunga mahal ah'.

So curious.. so we went like everyone else. It's selling like hot cakes. Banar.. you can see byk orang and flip through the books. Apparently, the craze came from Indonesia. People watching Indonesian channel. Again this is what I heard I'm not sure if sources are right.

Wanna see how it looks like. I'm shocked! cos I wont buy it cam inda jua seberapa but words in the Pasar said for Investment! hahaha good one! Am sure demand and supply will dictate when there is a lot in the market price will fall. I could be wrong.

Ok here it is. Ta Da....

You can see ramai here while other stalls are empty

Up close!!

The babies - Cost $10 - $15

The Actual Plant - This one cost about $1000 - $3000. So they say! Can you believe it? Would you really buy it? Sanggup orang bali.

Ba Ram Yuuuuuuuuuuuu....

Aaaaaaaa I woke up this morning with this word stuck in my head. Have no idea where it came from... its not like I just watched the movie... I haven't seen in yonks and horses. I BA RAM YOU to the kitchen making breakfast. BA RAM YOUed to the breakfast room. BA RAM YOUed my niece while she was eating her toast. BA RAM YOUed when everyone left the table and BA RAM YOUed back to the room! Got my hubby annoyed. hehehe He asked 'what is that!' hahaha In my defense, I forgot what's the name of the movie. I know it the Pig that wanted to be the Sheep hahahaha. So tried looking for it on you tube hahaha I gave up looking for it.

Instead I found this! Hilarious.... Isn't Europe a Country? hahahahaha Amtamtah Ko! hahaha Good morning Everyone. It's a beautiful sunday morning!

New York! New York!

Enchanted Enchanted! Adults and kids will like this movie for sure. Even the men likes it. I got recommendations from a guy to watch it and he's got a gf. Even my hubster likes it. We agreed the movie brings back good memories of when we were smaller. We like the fact that they made the cartoon undigital not like shrek and cars. Its the old fashion disney movie the likes of little mermaids. Cmon you'd be lying if you don't like little mermaid. Every little girl and older girls classics. Hahaha This movie the uncartoon part of it is set in New York which is part of the attraction. Central Park just looks just as cool!

At one point of the movie, thought it looked more like an English version of a Bollywood movie. My hubster disagreed hahaha he specifically said 'Not the same'. His comment were 'it's not the same cos at the end of her song every one was there and clapped, if it was a bollywood story all the dancers will all disappear' Hahaha is that right? I don't watch bollywood movie so I don't know all I know is that they all come dancing from nowhere.hahaha

Also notice at one point of the movie, I don't remember which part a very suttle music background of the 'Part of the World' from the Little Mermaid. When I heard it I sang to the song. Hahaha Download ih. Semangatz. You would to if you saw it! Get the Jessica Simpson version if you can also. hehe If you want to sing to the lyrics hahaha Nah... I know you wanna!

Anyways, This is a good watch! Puts a big smile down memory lane from the beginning of the movie and definitely keeps you smiling towards the end knowing the 'so called' Happy Ever After. The ending reminds me so much of the movie 'Perfect Man'. Love it!

Still set in New York, is the new series Gossip Girl! A lil bit different in style for the lastest episode this week Episode 9 Thanksgiving! Similarly, this episode was all about going back remembering the past and all about family. Again can't help but love the ending! Family being together playing around a family-versioned footie. Not easy being rich from the upper east side - a lot to hold up to, in school, in social life and esp in family. Yikes! Nevertheless, moral is family is still family - Blood is thicker than water no matter what happens. Love it! Keep em coming Gossip Girl.

Aaaa I wanna go for Chemical Romance concert in Singapore.
Argh inda sampat cos ia on the 11th Dec. So wanna go. Cubatah weekend! Listening to I don't love you as I blog! So wanna go! Anyone going do let me know how it went please. If ada photos would be better.

Click! ..

Journeyman is hmmmm some people might like it some people might not. Am on neutral lah kali. At least ada kan di liat. The thing is the main guy is just not as HAWT as Peter Petrilli hehehe. The rest of the characters are new faces.. Not one you'd remember much. Journeyman does remind me of Quantum Leap. Dulu Quantum Leap atu kira steady for its time.

Back to Journeyman latest episode.. Now he has enemies... one by one his family members and the investigators are getting to know his secrets. One thing saja I wonder, when will he be able to control his abilities. Or will he ever? Anyways, the stories are interesting... But there's a another mystery. Who is he working for?

Samantha Who's latest episode is so so but cali.. Like the part on how cheeky and naughty she WAS pretending to be handicapped on wheel chair during a hockey game. Can't get better seats than that? Hahaha Weird though, she lets her ex bf still stay in her apartment???

On a different note, found below very useful to have. Don't have to stretch hand so long to get both heads to fit in one shot! hahaha happen to ya too?

Hey sewing machine going modern?? Hahaha I kinda find this cool! Not that I sew though. I wish I could. Murah jua buat baju.. if only this modern sewing machine can cut and sew automatically. Count me in on the first on to buy it! hahaha Saja wah..Antamzzz

I can't keep up!...

Seriously with so many shows in the market, I just cannot keep up. Moreover cos since am back to work finding time to watch em all is like something I have to wait during the weekend. Nevertheless, although I am slow on Reaper, Journeyman and few others. I am up to date with Heroes..

This week on Heroes... eseh cam aku tah pulang yang bercakap. Hey I am giving my commentaries! hehe So back to where I was.. you can do the imagining I'll do the talking... Previously on heroes.. hehehe

Okay enough nonsensing around! Heroes Episode 10.... Aaaaaaaaaaa Aaaaaaaaaaaaa Aaaaaaaaaaaaaa that's my annoyance and frustrations on Peter Petrelli. Man if you we'ren't so HAWT I'd %#$!$@^%@$#%# already! Why is the story going one way?.. first its Claire who's not believing her dad and going off flying with West despite knowing what bad things can happen to her. Then its Mohinder going against Bennett knowing he's worked there for many many years. Cmon it does makes sense who to believe. A company that keeps coming with this virus or Bennett who's trying to bring the company down for all their wrong doings. And then this week its Peter, of all people why Peter.. You know Hiro so well and you trust this new guy you barely even know. Do we really live in a world of suckers and confusion? Apakan cerita ani cam sama saja line nya.

As much as I like to criticise this I still want to know what's the gonna happen... eeee Sasak ku ih... hahahaha Its that curiosity that comes with the show that just makes you wanna keep watching. Well for me at least.

On the other front, I have yet to watch the latest Desperate housewives, gossip girl - how I missed you so much! One week without it is like... labih ah! Awu andang! Chuck lagi, Reaper. And no I have not watched Big Shots yet. Not forgeting my fav Ghost Whisperer.

Ever noticed where the world is going with their English. No one speaks proper English anymore? I can make up my own English in this blog one day... Let's see where we go from here. After all ani wah antamsaja kali ah!

To add to my for funs... check out Paris and Nicole having lunch. C Nicole basar sudah parutnya.. boleh... Hahaha On Ellen Paris was telling the world she's single... I want Paris to go out with Ellen's DJ.. Sapa tu namaya? Starts with S??? Hmmmm sapa ah.. Hey he is cute and HAWT! Bole lah! Those agree raise your hands! Kalau inda jantah pulang... hehehe

Right on the money! O!

Ha Ha! Once Upon a Big Box Office... 'Enchanted' Casts $50M Box-Office Spell..
Am definitely gonna watch this soon.. Just trying to find the time! Yikes!

More on the seen, Samantha Who? makin Siukzzz ia ada theme.. so far family theme so I kinda like it. I was taken aback when the 3rd or 4th episode was about 'How she forgot what it feels to have S**'. Haha was like what the but the moral of it was good! Always good to wait! Even for us religious wise 'Wait till marriage'. I sokong!

On HerO!es heheheh O! O o yeah... the end was awesome especially the part when he grew his eyes back. Try doing a rerun over and over again on the part where he grew his eyes back! hahaha awesome! On this episode, we all must agree Mohinder is so Urgh! He has been a pest past few weeks. He's so confused and won't seem to learn from previous people's mistakes. So is Claire Bennett. She knows what she is up against in Season 1, why does she have to be so rebellious in Season 2. Ok ah! My thing for this episode 9, was that no one seems to be explaining anything. Mohinder being a friend cmon give the decency to tell Bennett why you need to take Claire away. Ani you shoot him instead in the eye! Of all places! Argh! tonights playing next episode in the US. Cmon Tuesday!

Speaking of O! Been meaning to blog this! Oprah's Favourite Things 2007 is out dah. Although this year macam inda seberapa as previous years with Ipods and Tivo. Nonetheless, am not one to complain when getting free stuff especially from Oprah - my many wishes hehe. This year she's big on kitchen stuff hehehe I wonder why? hehehe Stuff I dont mind having from her list which includes the kitchen electrical appliances all of em! Not the baju for old ladies though hahaha.

Would love to have this!

Heroes... Keep watching or watch others??

My lil friend was telling me how Heroes Season 2 has their ratings going south. I am nevertheless still a big fan although I have my complaints. I just like the fact that each of em have their powers and the fact that each of the episode just keeps you asking more questions. I like that in a show.

Among my many disappointments, although not that many are:

1. Kensei which all this while in Season 1 was the famous legendary Japanese warrior who end up to be a White Man in Japanese land somewhere back in the 16th - 17th century! That was not only bizarre but a shocker! How can a Japanese warrior end up being a Caucasian. That kinda spoils the Hero part. That Japanese warrior is part of being the Hero you onced envisioned in the past! Major disappointment Adam Monroe.

2. What happened to Peter Petrelli with Nicky? What happened to that? And that new girl, the Irish one! No way... I want Peter and Nicky like it should be in the future. They do make a lovely solid strong couple! Now with Peter, Maika might have a new dad! In the future they can probably be like the fantastic four just without the 4th one. Who knows Peter and Nicky would have a baby then they can be a fantastic four!

3. The story is a bit dragging. Its like you're watching and watching and now already episode 9 and still you're like okay where are we going? Cmon give me some action.

4. Nathan's suppose to become President and win the election, just cos he flew and got burnt doesn't mean he doesn't have a career. He is still alive. I do believe he can still pick up his career where he left off no? All of a sudden powerful confident Nathan became somewhat of a nobody! So sad.

5. And too many new characters, What's that veronica mars girl doing in there? and what's her role?

Think I have more but that's all I can think off for now. I was watching Ellen's many reruns, the one she invited the Heroes cast. She asked each of em what kind of superpower would each of you like to have? Each answered, and Ellen said she would like the ability to fly!

How about you? What kinda superpowers would you like to have? If you had a choice of only one?

You can play around and create your own Heroes here.

Animated movies more to come...

Holiday Season is just right around the corner. I still cannot believe its close to December already. Hari Raya has just passed and gone. Now the tis season of Haj. Wow time does fly so quick when you're into Life... hehehe

Anyways, aside from my watching TV withdrawal, back to work is definitely on the top agenda of life... Seasons of downloads and Tv series has slowed down but hey still have weekends to look forward to and watch what I've been missing for the week. Heroes Hot as ever! Ugly Betty even juicer with Posh's really coming to America and being on American TV series! MaJOR!

I nonetheless look forward to the animated movies that are soon for release... I look forward to watching Enchanted - The buzz is more on Mc Dreamy! I just like the fairy tale story plus some added animation to human works and moreover being in New York City. One no matter how old can never tire of a Happily Ever After story. Another one to watch is Alvin and the Chipmunks. Yeah ha! They're back after so long... so so long... so this must be THE main reason to watch. Alvin and the Chipmunk were like old times memories. Good fun times. Wonder if ever they will make Smurf a movie. Am sure one day they will. Just have to wait :P

With all these movies coming out one has as much reason to be a kid again and really enjoy the spirit of life.
For more family movies or animated movies soon to be out, check it out on Yahoo Movies!

Things to Bring for Hajj - Update Version

I thought I re-post an Updated Version of this Post from last. Wow shukur Alhamdullilah for those who get to go. Heard there's more Jemaah this year. Shukur! I wanna go again. Hope it helps Ya'll who are going.

Since Haji Season is coming up soon I might as well list some of the things that might be useful to pack for Haj.

Am definitely not an expert but hey every little helps. You can help too.. just email us or send you comments to add more..

Upon Departure - Make sure you have the following

1. Haji Passport - Yourself and the rest of the family
2. Hand Carry - Enough Baju for sampai di Madinah.
3. Money Cash or Tekad Haji Account (TAIB) - One can take out money from Darussalam if you have the Tekad Haji Account book - Just that the rates will definitely be lower than on the streets. Not to worry, Brunei Dollar is widely acceptable. Money Changer right in front of Taibah Hotel in Madinah. Apparently they said Madinah has better rates than Mekah - again then quote me. Also shopping is much Cheaper in Madinah! So they said. Just in case.
4. Name bracelet - Name Tags
5. Yellow health book.

What to pack?

1. Best to pack and put in transparent plastics. Best way to travel also!
2. Enough baju for a month's worth so maybe several cara melayu, baju kurung, jubah, baju pakistan, trousers. So basically baju for ke masjid.
Last year some asked Baju Pakistan for men - just send to the tailors here they'll know. Jangan jua banyak banar for everyday use - Remember there is laundry everywhere or else you can buy baldi there and wash and dry in your toilet.
3. Baju for jalan jalan
4. Baju tidur
5. Toiletries - but not to worry if can buy there.
6. 4 telekung should be enough. Maybe 2 with the Brunei flag stitched.
7. Medications, medicines & vitamins
8. Slippers yang tahan air especially for after berwudhu - selipar jepun. Scholl are comfy tapi style lama pulang but hey comfort comes 1st, fashion last esp in this situation
9. Comfortable shoes good for jalan jalan and also during meluntar & wukuf
10. Tudong, serukup and aurat covers for hand
11. Padlocks and keys
12. Cream kaki for cracked heals - Yes this is good what did I use last time? I forgot ada tu di Guardian. If you're lazy like me use Vaseline for all rounder. Serious it works! Every night before you go to bed just use vaseline as your mosturiser all over.
13. Food?? but most people say inda payah you will have enough, some people will bring it and you can always buy food there. Barat saja.. Lalap is very useful masa wukuf and di mina.
14. Socks and plenty of em - Yes plenty of em. Some like the ones with the lil toes!
15. Underwears including disposable ones. Yes Disposable ones is useful masa wukuf and di mina.
16. O o heard its a bit chilly this time of year so bring some warm clothes. not too many but enough.. Fleece jackets is useful for masa Subuh... Really!

17. White singlets
18. Small hand towels for wudhu inside masjid in your seat. I added a water sprayer! Just ask whoever next to you to spritz and you do you wudhu! Wudhu for angkota yang wajib! This helps a lot cos when I did it people next to me asked me to spritz them.
19. Small folded scissors for tahlul after Saie or after meluntar 1st Jamrah
20. Money belt may be useful.
21. Disposable Face Mask and plenty of em. Its good to cover your face for health purposes. Cos ramai orang this helps with dust and maybe prevent sickness among using damam. You never know who sits next to you. Just bring 2 boxes you can sedakah to those who needs em.
22. Small bag to bring your Quran, doa and bacaan book and slippers to masjid. Not too big... just a small one cos karang payah simpan or squeeze on the side among people.
23. Small bag or plastic for your slippers. Really this is useful. Slippers kotors kan so if you bring a show bag or plastic at least it covers in your bag.

Masa wukuf di arafah, ke mina for haj or umrah

1. 2 - 3 white baju for women includes jubah, baju kurung, Telekung or anything white for masa waktu Ihram.
2. Disposable undies would be useful
3. Sport shoes or any tough reasonable good shoes for meluntar. Try it before you pack i.e if orang tepijak from any angle during meluntar it wont come off. Sport shoes is enough Meluntar is so much better than it used to be. You have plenty of space Insyallah if the timing is right!
4. Men not required. hehehe as you know men only wear 2 white towels during Ihram
5. For men during wukuf - bring 1 - 2 baju cara melayu which can be used after tahlul awal which is after the 1st meluntar jamratul aqabah
6. Proper and tough hand carry which we can drag - who knows you have to walk a long way from the bus to the tent. Yes this is true. Not a big hand carry but a tough one.. Trying running with it dulu. I listed this before I went and it actually happened we were rushing for the bus amongst the bustling crowd lagi tu. What an experience. You may want the bag you can run with and then naik bus and tarus angkat put on the bus! Also who knows your bus breakdown so don't carry too big a bag.
7. Toiletries - pack light. bring in small travel containers. Toothbrush don't forget!
8. Very light towel or those wet towels with no perfume! Very useful..
9. Torch lights for ambil batu for meluntar.
10. Small bag to put the batu in.

MAIN POINT is to PACK LIGHT - SERIOUSLY!

Hope I've covered most of it. Hey if ya'll have more to add please send in your contribution will help a lot .. send us some emails or comments. Cheers. Every little helps!

Talking bout hantarans...

Starter's Wife on TV... cam inda siuk.. can't seem to get my eyes to really concentrate on it... So I might as well do a bit of nonsense blogging hehe.

Talking bout Hantarans. Most people tend to not talk so much about this but rather talk about their wedding attires - where they got it, pelamins and other stuff but in fact Hantarans plays a very important part of the package. Most newly weds are excited about the gift that they are getting. And getting gifts are big deals now that Hantarans are getting so much fancier than before.

Did you know that in the olden days, the women do not give Hantarans as Hantarans are gifts from the men. On the women side in return provides the men with delicious local delicacies from Yellow Rice, Fancy shaped agars agars to all sort of curries and a big fish hahaha! Big fish sounds funny but its true. The food that was given was not considered as Hantarans but rather Pembalasan.

Nowadays Weddings get more commercialised and very fanciful that the Men also wants to get gifts. I seen it grown from basics to Wowweee..

Some list of Hantarans to give. In the past must includes:

1. Pinang and the pinang box
2. Keris - maybe??
3. Kain pelikat
4. Set of Sewing Kit - What's the reason behind this though? So women can sew for their husbands maybe? You tell me I'd like to know.

Nowadays, only the few include this although very rare now. If you see this, you can tell one is very traditional in a good way, keeping the tradition alive is kinda cool. Some Hantaran norms gift now are as follows:

1. Shoes - which in the past they say one cannot place on the Gangsa. I keep asking why this is so. People always put Shoes in baskets so they can carry em easily since they cannot be placed on a Gangsa. I've had one reason explained was because in the past Gangsa was carried on their Heads that it is not wise to put or carry Shoes on your head! Bizarre but I guess it makes sense. If anyone can tell me a better reason I'd like to know. Very interesting.

2. Shoes and Bags for women. Dulu Bata now it's Jimmy Choos, LV, Prada, Lewry (this one lawa lawa for Hantarans), Diors, Gucci and so much more. You be suprised people really look at brands.

3. Watches ranges from Tag most popular, to Guess, Omega to the Best of the breed Rolex!

4. Kain for baju kurung - either already made into baju kurung with manics or just the colourful kain.

5. Matching scarfs, Pin and Brooches - Most popular is Ferragamo then again Di Brunei byk sudah the nice one. I do however have not seen a Hermes being sent (hehehe Ugly Betty punya pasal) There might be but I just would like to see one.

6. Oh Oh not forgetting toiletries for men and women - Men usually Clinique apa lagi tu ah.. For women it ranges from really branded to the most popular Marks and Spencer sets. Nowadays Evelyn & Crabtree is getting in the groove. L'occitane is also a good choice but not many yet.

7. Make Up Set for women is a must must! Mac is most popular choice. Mac is Big! Stila looks good on hantarans as well. I have yet to see people use Benefits. Cmon change to benefits its cool and funky.

8. Jewelries is another must must include Cincin Kawin. Bracelets, Necklace and Matching earrings but not often though.

9. Woops I forgot - Al Quran. This is not easy to find. people with connection always ask to buy from people who goes to Dubai. They like the fancy Beludu ones that comes in Boxes. Ada lagi I've seen the one shaped in Kaabah which is way cool. Who has photos send over!

10. Tikar sembahyang also now is evolving! Form basic beludu to hand made sewn colourful tikar sembahyang. Nowadays its the cushioned one! What you don't have the cushioned one! Aya aya you dont know what you're missing. You gotta get the cushioned one! No I'm serious. Package this with the Kayu Kokka Tasbih and maybe a Songkok.

11. The usual Belanja Serbaguna and Mas Kahwin comes in frames or no frames. Depends on different taste.

12. Almost forgot about the boring Towels hahaha not much to say bout this. Some people substitute this with night robe and bedroom slippers.

I got more to list not forgetting the Techy's - Very New Age Hantarans. Will list in my next post. Ngalih ku sudah.

The Office...

Watching the British Version of The Office, can't help but laugh so much. The Brit Version is definitely much funnier that the American Version. Just that the American Version is more Modern. At times I watch BBC Entertainment and the Brits do have a sense of humour in a corky accenty kinda way. They are truly funny with a tad bit of sarcasm. There is this one show which I don't remember what's it called, on BBCE about a Dentist and his family. And there's this character that is similar to the character of the skinny guy in Nottinghill. The one that lives with Hugh Grant. That kinda character is truly Brit and very funny. Even remembering the movie with that guy wearing all sorts of weird clothing - or none at all is kinda a Laugh! hahaha

Ok I finally managed to find out the name of the Latin dance. Not so much of a dance but a Latin Brazilian Martial Arts of Capoeira! Yeah... had to google with my lil cuz. Once he knew the name, he kept on repeating it many times over! hahaha

Oh ok now I remember who Chuck is a cross of. He is a cross of Zack Braff in Scrubs and that guy in The Office the American Version. However, had a new epiphany when my other cousins came along when I was watching Chuck. He said,' Eh isn't that ....something something Levi' I said I think so. He said,' Hey he looks different'. Different from what? Then he said 'Isn't he in the Less Than Perfect?' I was like, QUE? hehehe saja use the word. Yeah QUE?
Which one? I don't remember him there. Said he's the one that's a bit high class wears a suit.. hmmmm he could be but I can't recall. Will have to wait for the next Less Than Perfect on Astro to check if its him..

All these actors and actress in different shows ... hahah makin steady lah tu sudah. Even that guy on Grounded for Life. The boyfriend.. has his own show on Reaper... Definitely makin steady!

I have got to stop watching TV... aaaa I gotta get out more... Heal baby heal! :P

Mode of Transport....

Alhamdullilah I have company at home today. hahaha My lil cousin is sick and his parents sent em over here to babysit. Hahaha I end up flipping channels with him from Aznil Tom Tom Bak - Urgh! to Animal Planet which was interesting to Chef at Home on AFC - cut your hair! Aya! to Travel and Living about hmmm what was it about... About a aaa I forgot what it was about... Some form of dance in latin America, it was like a slow version of breakdown plus untouchable kung fu. My lil cuz and I was trying to imitate the unfamiliar names which we were not able to pronounce hahaha. He end up doing his own version of that dance. oh goodness what's it called. We were even debating how its pronounced. Can't believe I forgot the name.

Anyways, watching animal planet was interesting. It was in about Police in New York with animals. One was the police on horses. Was telling my lil cuz how interesting if we have Police on Horses roaming around Bandar and Gadong.. Hahaha would be cool makes a tourist attraction. Then we saw the part when they're shift was up they had to put the horses in the van to send to their stalls (??) not sure what you call that. Then the NY police had to unsaddle, brush and clean the horses and then put them in their own stalls. Told my lil cuz, said wow that's a lot of work, better use a car, easy park and then switch off and go. Kids being kids, out of the blue my lil ciz said horses are better. I said, why? Nya, " Inda payah bali minyak" Hahaha kids do say the darnest things! I said good point! hahahaha

Finally, watched Heroes last night epi 6 aaaaaaaa I want more... Claire and West why did you guy do such an awful act? Aaaaaaa Parkman was not in this episode. Hiro why? you changed the course of time. What will happen next? and Peter please Nicky is back. Dump the girl and leave her there in Montreal... hehehe. Watched E News couple of days ago and they were hinting some connections between the character I kind forgot what was the link. West apparently is the next best guy on the block, maybe after Zack Efron!

I never thought I'd be addicted to Ugly Betty but hey being on leave might as well watch it. After Epi 10 on astro I got hooked. Good thing for my cousin who had the whole series I gave in to a marathon. The funny thing about Ugly Betty is although it can be for above 18 still think its clean. But the TWIST! That's thing that keeps you going are the TWISTs in each show. They just keep em coming. Everytime someone comes into my room, they always ask okay what have I missed and in one episode alone I can tell a book! Ayaya ya drama drama drama. Was debating with my friend whether Henry looks cute. She finds him kinda geeky, stiff and robotish hehehe.. and maybe lanky too.. Hey I thought you like tall and lanky guy? Said think his smile is cute and he does have some similarities to Clark Kent just with no powers. hahaha Oh by the way, Charlie is the girl from Heroes, the girl that had reading abilities but died in one episode. Hiro fell in love with her. I thought I saw her on friends too last night. The mum of the child that Chandler and Monica wanted to adopt. Then again she could be a different person cos she was blonde in Friends. If it was the same person, she's better off red headed! Thumbs up!

Will watch the latest Chuck after this! That girl has the cutest smile. Think Chuck is a cross between Zack Braff in Scrubs.. and hmmm who ah... am picturing someone but just can't recall. Yikes.

I know I watch too much TV. Please anyone is you can tell me the name of the dance of that Latin dance - break dance plus untouchable kung fu version... It cannot be Bolero.

Oh watching Ugly Betty helps me pick up a bit of Latin? I like it when they said Que? for what! Que! So when that black eyed lady in Heroes said Que in epi 6, I could understand it yeah! hahaha and I think Te Quero? Not sure if that is spelt right mean To Love kah? Or Mi Corazon meaning Something to do with My Heart! Hey hahahaha

I just asked my lil cuz what the name is and he said "Mana ku Tau!" Instead he did a version of it LIVE! hahaha

Over and out

Owe to posting...

Havan't been posting lately... for many reasons. Back and forth hospitals... urgh! But hey much better Shukur Alhamdullilah. Ever since I came back from the 'Paris' hahahaha as usual got nothing much to do but good thing for the latest shows available. By the way, just in case you all are wondering how come I have gone to 'Paris' so soon and just to go for treatments hahaha I find saying Ripas reminds me of my trips there so to make it lighter I'd prefer saying I went to 'Paris'. Hey all letters used are the same. hehehe

Anyways, back to my episodes watching before I get back to work. Yikes, I missed so much.. a week or so kali. As my friend had trouble with her internet and so she calls it 'Internet Withdrawal Syndrome'. Sanggup ke cafe eventhough puasa enam hehehe I had the similar issues though not so much of the Withdrawals but rather could not connect when I was in Paris. If only my bed was right in the corner I could've probably connected hahaha.

Yeah! am back in business caught up with my latest Gossip Girl! Yeah... For some reason I watched 2 episodes today about the rich gone poor but keeping up with the status. One was Gossip Girl epi 5 kah 6 tadi I watched and Ugly Betty Season 1. Okay okay am on reruns dah.

Also watched journeyman epi 5 which my hubby just realised I forgot to download epi 4 so we kinda skipped a beat hahaha. It's okay good thing each episode is not linked. Still can understand. One thing saja about journeyman atu.. At times I can't seem to make out the words he is saying... does he mumble or is the volume on the down low.

Heroes oh come on! Just gets you asking so many questions? Jahatkah bapa c parkman? Until now I keep asking why is Peter Petrilli with that girl! hehehe No am serious! I much prefer him with Nicky. Why is Peter with in Ireland. after 5th episode still we don't know. Oh by the way Ando is getting cuter whilst Hiro is oh well Hiro! hehehe And Why is the Japanese Hero a caucasian? Takenzi kah namanya? And what is his connection with The Cheerleader who grows herself back? And when is the dating scene between her and West coming up again? All these questions and actually so much more which makes Heroes S2 best show ever by far! Who is doing all the killing of parents in this show. Ok stop asking question. Keep watchin folks cos I know I am.

How met your mother s3 is a disappointment I dare not download that one. I don't mind waiting for someone to barter trade with me. I got Ugly Better 2nd Season but not watched yet. Oh oh before I forget I better tell my friend, I did watch Samantha Who sudah It's just that I haven't blogged about it.

Samantha Who? You're asking? Even I don't know well its about this girl who got hit I think in an accident and lost her memory. Apparently she's suppose to be nasty and a cheater before she lost her memory so she's trying to find herself. Although played by Christina Applegate.... I am so sad. I think that girl has potentials but was bit disappointed. For some odd reason I seem to recall her always playing a ditsy girl. She was ditsy in this episode of Samantha Who? She was ditsy in that movie with Phoebe from friends and she was the ditsy sister of Racheal in friends. Sayang... maybe she should play a role in Grey's Anatomy and become a Doctor and get her credibility back. Cmon girl you can do better than that.

More to watch... I can't wait ... hey is today thursday? Gossip girl must be out dah... better check it out! Ayaya drama drama drama... X O X O

Want more....hehe more shows

As usual been watching more shows... my hubster really like journeyman.. suruh download atu... lupa ku... woops.. Watched the latest heroes... For some reason within a week I been seeing Parkman on other shows. First on monk and 2nd he was also on Alias. Maybe dulu inda recognise ia. See you need one show to get you to stardom. I guess for him.. its Heroes... Hmmm wonder what's his real name! Dang... takut ku.. I feel sorry for the little girl staying with em.. although when looking at 2 men Parkman and Suresh taking care of a lil girl does look... hmmm dodgy inda jua.. lain saja... and the girl I noticed always does this 'Run, Jump and Hug' thing! Hahaha Can't wait for next monday! Cmon! Who and why is Parkman's dad the jahat one! Why? His son is such a nice guy! and What have the 12 in the photo done in the past? What group were they in? aaaaa all this questions! I wanna know ...

I owe this post to my lil friend... I owe her a lot like a turkey sandwich too.. Sorry lil one that one I really cannot do anymore. Even I missed it :( Boring... Anyways, she asked me to watch Bionic Woman.. She fell asleep. asked me whether she should watch it again..hahaha hmmmm Think I'd watch Journeyman again than that one. Hmmm not much of a G.I Jane kinda thing... then again if nothing else to watch might as well. Watched Reaper for 3rd time .. finally concentrating.. siuk jua for fun.. but overall oklah.

Not forgetting Gossip Girl XOXO again so addicted! hahaha watched Episode 5. Aaaaa next week... cmon Wednesday come sooner. Apart from the inevitable you know what's gonna happen to the 2 love birds... Serena and Dan, the juice is Blair and Jenny. That Truth and Dare Session - Ouch! Nasty! Apart from that indulging on their sleep over! Classy! And not forgetting awe cmon Daddy Humfrey and Mummy Serena.. We know you're eventually gonna get close! Waiting for the when. Would be good if they were a family least there's a responsible dad for all of em. But bad idea for the 2 lovebirds! Yikes... I think we know where this is going! Although missing in this episode .. hey where are the guys! Nate??? where are you... hahahaha

Still tops my list ... Heroes 1st, Gossip Girl missed by a point. I'll go for Ghost Whisperer... uncomparable to the rest.. I find it so entah ahh... tickles my curiosity with ghostly things and the world beyond what we can see... and I am not a big horror fan! And then maybe Chuck comes after that. A helpless guy suddenly become a spy with big brains... hmmm.. what else can you ask for.. hehehe

Blog or not to blog..

Finally Am Home... Home is definitely where the heart is... Just feels so good to be home.
First and foremost, Selamat Hari Raya to all. Maaf Zahir Dan Batin Minal Wal Fa Izin. Wonder what the last one means? Anyone?

Was really and not really looking forward to raya for many conflicting reasons. hehehe End up not celebrating at all but its okay. For the most part of it am just happy to be well and home

On the day of raya I woke up at 5am with severe pain.. Went to the bathroom many times. I thought was gonna be okay. Soon after the family came back from raya I was really severely in pain. One that wouldn't go away... and that was it! first day of raya admitted in the hospital for 3 and half days. Just got back yesterday. Yeah! I never thought it would happen to me but it did.

Nevertheless, with all this happening to me.. am so grateful for my family and esp my hubby! I love him for being there for me. I couldn'y walk nor go to toilet, my hands was numb with iv drips. Yes both hands.. and thanks to the nurse for taking care of me. For once in my life I felt really helpless. I simply cannot take care of me and that scared me. So used to being independent..

Am so grateful I am recovering well. 95% here. The antibiotics is really making me puke..hehehe

Here's me yeah.. my last antibiotics shot..I was surprised with all the new medical tech equipment. One of em is this. I been complaining how much it hurts being given antibiotics through the iv... This way it alleviates the pain. Can still feel the sting but not so bad. the 25mins was the longest hehehe.

Glad to be home.. watched Reaper, Journeyman and finally Ghost Whisperer S3 today. My hubby liked Journeyman cos he knows the guy from Rome. I didn't quite get it at first. Was a bit lost for the first part of it. Then it got better towards the end. Watch it! Although they could've picked a cuter guy... cam he looks rough wah and blond.. bosan jua tu..

Reaper oklah had to watch it 2wice. Was not concentrating. Think about the parents selling his son's soul to the devil. Guy from that tv series.. apa tu namanya... Oh saw parkman on Monk today. Ghost Whisperer was cool.. watched 2 episodes.. am curious about the other worlds... just have to watch it during the day.. hehehee

As with our title Antamsaja... Sian wah.. been awhile since we've updated this blog. Thought better to revive it. Sayang jua since ada so might as well.. Its just about whatever we find interesting and share will ya'll Bruneians and others who have been searching through this blog.. Hehe

An interesting read about the supposedly 'Fake Hogwart' in India. JK Rowling is apparently sueing them for this. Hmmm tercari ia.. hehe

Was going through the rounds of random blogs to read... clicked on Brunei Team Take 5 - like the logo! Weeehaayy very kungfu stylo.. very cool. Didn't really read all. I just scrolled down.

Hey, guess what I found, Cuboi did a recycling sketch! hehehe Bah Cuboi registertah your blog to support Blog Action Day.. hehehe saja.

Makin banyak ampau packets kana bagi.... I usually have leftovers. I know some people payah payah kan dapatkan ampau packets and sometimes I wish there's a radar for those who don't have let me give some to you. The same goes for yearly diaries and calendars. Maybe we should a have one point in Bandar where we can drop stuff to give to people who needs it the most. So people can just take.. okay wouldn't say sampah points but hmm entah ih inda tau apa.. anyways whatever.

Yea.. Raya is on Saturday

Believe that the majority of us wanted Raya to be on Saturday. Yea shukur we all got our wish. Moreover, who'd wanna miss one more day of Ramadhan especially on a friday. Hmmm I feel so sad. I didn't get to fast as much as I wanted due to complications. I do however remember what a dear friend of mine sad, things happens for a reason and insyallah Allah have something better for those he give challenges too. Amin.

Continued on with watching more TV Series. Gossip Girl! X O X O! I really like that part! Kiddo! Wink* Wink* saw that on your raya card. Watched the 3rd episode last night.. yeah ha getting juicer and tougher. Man Upper East side teenagers have a tough time and pressure of family lives. Also the pressure of getting to the best schools in the U.S. Am lucky am not like that as much as my parents insist I go to a good boarding school and a good Uni. Good thing we don't have that kinda of tradition to get to the best school. Then again my experience was a long time ago, not sure how the process is nowadays. Must be tougher as competition is tight. The moral of the episode was about forgiveness - it was really tough. Hey Forgiveness is not easy to say or even do or most of all to forget but in order to move on in this life we have to forgive. Hari Raya is coming up and what a better time to forgive.

Another one I watched was Alien in America. Not sure what to make of this series, part racist but part tryin to understand other cultures and religion. Still it was weird watching it. I do however like the part when the boy followed his new friend praying facing Makkah. Cali! In a way good jua ia ngajar then again... hmm have to see lah Just don't like kalau drg main main kan atu. That guy looks familiar. I think he's from Nick kali...hmm

Oh with the spirit of raya, with thousands of tin cans around don't forget to support the Blog Action Day. Let's all help the environment in our own little ways by recycling. :P 2 more days to go to October 15th which is Blog Action Day.

On October 15th, bloggers around the web will unite to put a single important issue on everyone’s mind - the environment. Every blogger will post about the environment in their own way and relating to their own topic. Our aim is to get everyone talking towards a better future.

More to watch .. more to read

Think I should start a new ritual... Watch Gossip Girl before I go to work! Hahaha It's getting juicer baru 2nd episode. I wonder how much juicer it can get if the first few episode is already a racket...

Heroes epi 3 aaaaaaa i can't wait for the next one. Lovin' it... So wish my hubby can fly like the guy (West) who picked up Claire and flew over the world way cool. This way, we don't need to apply for leave and save money on airflight tickets especially the fuel charges hehehe *Sigh* Still dreaming... about the flying thing...hehe

Ok I still owe myself Ghost Whisperer 3 and Aliens in America. Haven't seen yet. I look forward to Chuck! My hubby calls it 'mana chuck chuck chuck' hahaha

A lot of watching...

Thanks to my dear friend...for some of the new series playing on NBC and others. Here's something to share with ya'll

1. Chuck - At first I didn't get it. Then come to realise its action thriller meets tv series comedy meets some normal guy named Chuck who happened to have the SKILLS or more like secrets after a long lost friend sent him emails of top secret stuff. Still confused cos the CIA and FBI involved. Dig the chick - cute teeth by the way. Watch it!

2. Gossip Girl - Definitely a girly watch set in New York. Upper Class New Yorker teenagers - school issues, mea girls issues, the usual. Not a fan of the girl from the travelling pants more. I like the bad girl better Miss Blair. As I was watching this, I've come to realise the gossip girl is not any of them. Its someone else... hmmm that's the mystery I guess. Not for a guy to watch. Just for fun I don't mind watching just to find out why this gossip girl takes an interest.

3. How I met your mother S3 - For a start the 1st episode was a downer. Think the script writer is losing his/her touch. Not as funny as the 1st and 2nd one. Robin's not as pretty as the 1st and 2nd episode. Now that Ted and her not together its getting bit too boring. Thanks to his friends around otherwise I'd say its a flop start. Barney's not his usual self and if he is It's not as fun anymore. Even he is losing his Wait for it! Wait for it!... Nah! I'd still watch just to see if it gets any better. Pray that it does. Maybe a new sexy lady for Ted. Please! Chuck Robin - she's selfish and has a bad hair do.

4. Heroes S2 - Stronger as ever..Bring it on! You wish it plays every day or maybe every other day.

5. Big Bang Theory - A aaaaaaa don't show this one again. please... Beauty and the Geek went series... aaaaa.. i just don't find it funny... too geeky.. sorry I highly respect nerds and geeks but this one just made them look bad.
Think it will follow suit of Joey's success.

6. Ghost Whisperer S3 - Have yet to see it ... Soon just trying to find the right timing.. Hopefully I'll get to watch it tonight!

That'll be all till me next update on me watchlist.

What to do with your cassette tapes?

Child of the 80's - hear ye hear ye!hehe Do you have many cassettes tapes lying around you don't use anymore? Don't want to hoard no more? Here's a few suggestions by BBC News Magazine on what to do with your them hehe

1.TAPE TO DIGITAL

"It's relatively easy to hook them up to a computer to convert the tracks to MP3s," says Tom Dunmore, editor-in-chief of Stuff magazine.
"The sound quality isn't going to be amazing but it never was with tapes. The problem doing that is you will have to enter the artists and track information, which can be very laborious."

Most PCs have a line input to connect a hi-fi to a computer, he says, and there is cheap or free software available online which allow users to convert into any format.

"As a child of the 80s, it's a sad day," says Mr Dunmore. "There was that mix phenomenon. In the days of playlists and libraries of tens of thousands of songs, the art of the mix tape has gone. Yet it's synonymous with your first relationship and making tapes for girls."

2. RECYCLING BIN
A cassette tape has many parts, including the plastic casing, the inlay card, the recording tape and sometimes steel screws and springs. Local authorities do not have the capability or infrastructure to break down the tapes, so any sent to the council will end up in landfill.

The tape provides the recycling problem. Specialist firms such as the Recycling People can arrange for audio tapes to be broken down, but they currently charge because the recording tape cannot be recycled - it has to go to landfill and that comes at a cost.

The firm's owner, Roger Dennett, says the plastic casing is what's called "high impact" polystyrene, which is recycled as coat hangers and retail displays. The cardboard is easily recycled and the steel screws can be re-used as scrap.

"The problem is the recording tape, which has no use or value. We are looking at using it as part of a sustainable energy project in the future."

Myles Pilkington, of recycling company Sims Group, says the main problem with recycling is the cost of collecting and moving the tapes to a processing site. "Tapes are mostly plastic, filled with air and are subsequently lightweight and bulky." The recovery of plastics from CDs and DVDs is more common because this plastic is of a higher value than polystyrene. But he says it may not be too long before there are kerbside plastic recycling bins or "tape banks" where audio cassettes can be deposited.

3. FLOG THEM
Fans of a certain internet auction site often claim you can flog just about anything if the price is right... cassette tapes included. The price, however, is unlikely to have music industry executives clamouring for a share of lost royalties.

Take one current auction, of 14 TDK and Sony cassettes. "Some have missing inlay cards but the tapes themselves are in great condition, they have only been recorded on once," runs the vendor's spiel. Despite a modest starting price of £1, the offer has so far attracted precisely zero bids.

Alternatively, some second-hand record shops still accept cassettes. Proper albums only, though, not mix tapes.

4. PRESS PLAY
For those who still own a cassette player, there's no need to do anything. But it might be wise to start making digital versions before the machine or the tapes start to shuffle off this mortal coil.

A more expensive option than converting the most-cherished mix tapes and albums is to buy the songs online or on CD. That way the sound quality is significantly enhanced.

5. SCARE BIRDS
A tip among gardeners is to stretch the tape between posts to scare birds away.
The whistling wind and the reflecting sunlight apparently startle the birds and keep them away from a vegetable plot.

Given it wouldn't make for the prettiest of sights, perhaps this is one feature the Ground Force team wouldn't recommend.

6. MAKE BELT BUCKLES
Vintage clothing designer Chandra Sweet, based in Seattle in the US, uses blank audio cassettes to accessorise belts which she sells online or at craft fairs.

"I was very surprised at how popular the buckles are," she says. "They sell pretty well, as do the luggage tags, which are made from the J-cards of the cassette. It's amazing how happy people react to seeing them. When people in their late 20s and early 30s see them, they freak out. I always hear how they had this exact cassette when they were 14. They get a good laugh out of the buckles."

7. MAKE WALLETS
Another designer, Marcella Foschi, breaks cassette tapes and joins them back together using zippers to make a wallet. Her crafts made their debut at the Tokyo Designboom 2006 Mart.

8. FREE TO GOOD HOME
Let others enjoy the music you no longer listen to. Websites like freecycle.org provide a network of people giving and receiving goods, for free. Or take the tapes to your local charity shop.

9. BUNDLE PAPER
The tape can act as twine to bundle up newspapers - and it's reusable. It could also be used as ribbon when gift-wrapping - strangely apt, if the parcel contains an MP3 player. Who knows, it may even go curly when scraped with scissors, just like bought gift-wrap ribbon.

10. CHILD'S TOY
Children seem to magically acquire an extra dexterity in their fingers to be able to pull the tape out of cassettes. This might have been a trauma for parents 20 years ago, when toddlers destroyed their favourite mix tape or the latest chart countdown. But now they can keep a watchful eye as their little darling remains amused for hours.

A lil something from Bahapa Kitani to share with all :
  • Allah Ta’ala berfirman, “Perumpamaan (nafkah yang dikeluarkan oleh) orang-orang yang menafkahkan hartanya di jalan Allah adalah serupa dengan sebutir benih yang menumbuhkan tujuh bulir, pada tiap-tiap bulir seratus biji. Allah melipatgandakan (ganjaran) bagi siapa yang Dia kehendaki. Dan Allah maha luas (kurnia-Nya) lagi maha mengetahui”. {Al Baqarah (2) : 261}
  • Among Al Sadiqat Al Jariah where the actions outlives you is participating in the building of a masjid
